Unique “condensed” Formula – Add water to release Nutrients

Evolution Diet brand offers the 'condensed' formulas meaning nutrients are densely packed inside the small kibbles. To release the full nutritional value of kibbles we recommend adding water so that it is easier to digest and absorb the nutrients. When you add water you don't have to give as much food as when you feed dry. For example, if you normally give 1 cup of dry kibble per meal, then when you feed moist kibble you can give 2/3 of a cup, so you are saving 1/3 of a cup per feeding. Adding water makes the kibble expand in size and it becomes more filling and your companion is satiated on less food. You are saving 25%-33% of food per meal. So you get some savings and you also provide the much needed hydration. Moist kibble is much better than dry.

StepsTo prepare moist food from dry kibble:

Start by using a lower amount of dry food (than what is indicated for the weight of your cat)
-Add water 1:1 ratio (1 part kibble to 1 part water)
-Let stand for 30-60 min
-Note: Check and brush your pet’s teeth regularly.

After giving the moisten kibble for a week observe the weight of your pet - is it going up? is the weight going down? Adjust the amount of kibble to maintain healthy weight.
