The Santoku Chef Knife is made of high quality 3-layer Japanese SKD-11 high carbon steel as the cutting core; greatly improving corrosion and wear resistance. It is also precision vacuum cold heat treated to a hardness of 60±2 HRC. Enabling the Japanese kitchen knives to achieve incredible blade retention and excellent cutting performance.
[Creative Non Stick Coating]
The Japanese Santoku knife blade length 6.8 inches with a 4.7 inches handle. The unique non-stick coating on the blade ensures that food is released from the blade for fast and efficient cutting; it is then treated with BO oxidation for enhanced rust resistance. Finger support points are designed between the blade and handle for safer cutting.
[Super Sharp Knife Blade Edge]
Forged by hand to grind the blade to 8-12° on each side to obtain a fine V-shaped sharp edge; for maximum sharpness and to keep food in its most pristine and fresh state when cutting.
